Brazil

Brazil is a large Portuguese speaking country in South America. Its flag is mainly inherited from the previous political entity that existed in the same location, but the globe and motto are original elements. The green background of the flag represents plants, and the yellow diamond represents minerals. The blue globe symbolizes the sky at Rio when the Southern Cross constellation is at the meridian. The motto spreading across the globe means, "order and progress."
